Job Description:
Angott Search Group is partnering confidentially with a
respected, relationship-driven community bank seeking a Commercial
Lender to support continued growth in the Springfield, IL market.
This role is ideal for a motivated business developer who enjoys
prospecting, building relationships, and driving new loan
production rather than managing an inherited portfolio. The

decision-making and supportive credit culture Opportunity to build
and grow a commercial portfolio Strong community presence and
long-term career stability Key Responsibilities Develop new
commercial lending relationships (CRE and/or C&I) Prospect and
originate new loan opportunities Analyze financial statements and
structure credit solutions Manage and grow a commercial portfolio
Partner with credit, operations, and leadership teams Represent the
bank within the local business community Qualifications 2–3 years
Commercial Lending experience (CRE or C&I) Proven prospecting
and business development mindset Entrepreneurial “fire in the
belly” to drive production Annual production expectations of
approximately $9–10MM for seasoned lenders Springfield market ties
