Job Description Job Description Position Summary: We are seeking
a skilled and reliable Mechanical Maintenance Technician with a
working knowledge of electrical systems to support the day-to-day
maintenance of our facility and equipment. The ideal candidate is a
hands-on professional with strong mechanical troubleshooting
abilities, basic electrical repair knowledge, and a commitment to
maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Key
Responsibilities: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on
mechanical systems, motors, pumps, conveyors, HVAC, and facility
equipment Diagnose and repair mechanical breakdowns, component
failures, and system malfunctions Conduct basic electrical work
such as replacing sensors, motors, fuses, switches, and wiring
under supervision or within safe voltage ranges Assist with
equipment installations and facility improvements Read and
interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and work orders Maintain
accurate records of maintenance work and parts inventory Follow
safety procedures and participate in ongoing safety training
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical
training or certification preferred Minimum 2–4 years of experience
in mechanical maintenance in an industrial, manufacturing, or
commercial setting Basic electrical troubleshooting skills and
familiarity with electrical tools and safety practices Ability to
read technical drawings and schematics Strong problem-solving
skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as
part of a team Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders,
and work in varying environmental conditions Willingness to be
on-call or work overtime as needed Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with PLCs, control systems, or industrial automation
OSHA safety training or other relevant certifications Experience
using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
software
