Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the
current school year through May 22, 2026, in an elementary school
setting located in Joliet, IL. This contract position covers a
leave assignment within a self-contained early childhood center,
providing critical speech and language services to young learners.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized speech-language
therapy to students in a self-contained classroom environment.
Conduct assessments and develop tailored treatment plans in
collaboration with educators and families. Monitor student progress
and maintain detailed documentation in compliance with district and
state guidelines. Participate in team meetings and contribute to
the development of inclusive educational strategies. Ensure all
services are provided on-site, adhering to school policies and
schedules. Qualifications: Masters Degree in Speech-Language
Pathology. Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP
Endorsement through the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE).
Experience working in school settings preferred, particularly with
early childhood populations. Strong ability to work independently
and as part of an interdisciplinary team. Commitment to providing
in-person speech therapy services onsite. Location: Elementary
school located in Joliet, Illinois. This role provides an excellent

Compensation for this position ranges from $41.40 to $61.40.
