Job Description:
Maintenance MechanicThe Mechanic is responsible for preventative
maintenance and repair of all machinery and equipment within the
facility. As a Full-Time team member, you would work at least 40
hours per week (on average) and overtime may be required. We set
industry standards in terms of pay and benefits. We also offer

expect to work on your feet through most of your shift near heavy
machinery in a loud manufacturing environment. While we want
everyone to feel comfortable, our ability to control the
temperature is limited. In the Breakfast Department, large
machinery such as ovens and extruders, can create warm working
conditions which can further be impacted by seasons and the
weather. In the Chewy Department, the temperature is cooler to
maintain product viability.Frequent tasks you could expect to
perform: Responsible for performing lubrication, preventive
maintenance inspections, and a variety of semi-skilled tasks in
support of plant maintenance functions. Maintain a clean and safe
work area. Safety is everyone's job. Assist operators with basic
preventative maintenance on packaging machines such as cleaning or
switching out knives and blades, pull-belts, tape machines or
rollers, depending on the need Repair, maintain, troubleshoot,
multiple different types of large and small machinery Install plant
equipment, service lines, and general building maintenance tasks
Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices, such as frequent
handwashing, hairnets, no jewelry, etc. Keep accurate records and
comply with appropriate documentation processes. Troubleshoot
commonplace problems and make operational adjustments.As a
mechanic, you are around all our products and the machinery that
processes ingredients and packages them which means you should
consider the potential allergens and sensitizers, such as dairy,
peanuts, wheat, soy, and coconut.Minimum requirements for this
position: You are at least 18 years of age or older You must be
flexible to work overtime, weekends, and as needed based on
maintenance needs. Ability to lift and maneuver 50 pounds with or
without a reasonable accommodationPossession of skills in
electronics/pneumatics, instrumentation, electrician, machinist,
pipefitter, and millwright are necessary for execution of the job.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time with or
