Your responsibilities

If so, our Production Line Manager position is for you!The Production Line Manager reports to the Sr. Production Manager and is responsible for overseeing and staffing production workforce and activities, maintaining production schedules, and meeting production goals. Your Responsibilities

• Oversee line production involving quality, man hours per piece, PMs, TPM, safety, and all production staff
• Set and facilitate meeting production goals; establish priorities
• Work to meet shipment schedules
• Ensure production line is running and functioning properly; take necessary actions to correct problems
• Ensure staffing gaps are filled in terms of hiring needs and attendance issues; allocate staff accordingly and reassign resources as necessary
• Take part in hiring, training, and discipline of production workforce
• Maintain production schedules regarding what product is running and necessary change overs
• Reporting on safety, production numbers, scrap, quality, machine downtime, tooling cost, and man hours/piece
  Your profile
  Education/Credentials/Certifications
  • 5 years of progressive experience in Production Management functions required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Management, or related field preferred Length of Experience
    • At least 7 years of previous manufacturing experience
    • Previous supervisory experience Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
      • Understanding of machining process
      • Knowledge of lean technique disciplines
      • Strong mathematical ability and financial knowledge
      • Team building skills
      • Management and leadership abilities
      • Excellent problem solving and reasoning ability
      • Excellent written and oral language ability
      • Excellent organizational skills
