Description:We are currently searching for a full-time
experienced Painter to join our Construction Services Team based
out of our Champaign location. The ideal candidate will work
alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety,
productivity, and superior workmanship, this is your chance to
advance your career!The overall objectives for this role will be to
directly handle a wide range of painting tasks including cleaning,
preparation of walls, filling cracks, holes, and joints, priming,
or sealing surfaces prior to painting. The ideal candidate will
have superior attention to detail and the ability to directly
handle a wide range of construction activities.What will you do?---

Always Improve--- Calculate amounts of required materials and
estimate costs. Select and buy paint from vendors--- Directly
handle a wide range of painting tasks including cleaning,
preparation of walls, filling cracks, holes, and joints, priming,
or sealing surfaces prior to painting--- Mask and cover surfaces
with cloth or plastic to ensure protection--- Utilize spray guns
for large jobs. Clean up all equipment, including brushes and spray
guns--- Hang, repair, and finish drywall, perform light masonry
work--- Collaborate with other carpenters, craftsmen, and
subcontractors to complete projects--- Complete a range of painting
tasks from mixing, matching, and applying paint, varnish, shellac,
enamel, and other finishes to surfaces, including walls, floors,
doors, and cabinets--- Pivot, roll up your sleeves and jump in

careerRequirements:Who you are - We'd love to hear from you if
you:--- Have at least two years of painting experience--- Knowledge
of and expertise with framing, trim, finish work,
window/door/cabinet installation, tiling, roofing,
drywall/painting--- Have a High School diploma or GED--- Have
ethical and professional conduct and integrity beyond reproach---
Have the ability to work overtime as needed during high-demand
times and capacity shortagesSome additional things you will
need:--- A valid driver's license and dependable vehicle.---
Availability to work longer hours and weekends during prime leasing
season and turnover--- Willingness to spend long periods of time
standing and to work outside in all weather conditionsPhysical
Requirements--- Ascending or descending ladders, stairs,
scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like.--- Moving self in different
positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including
tight and confined spaces.--- Moving about to accomplish tasks or
moving from one worksite to another.--- Adjusting or moving objects
up to 50 pounds in all directions.--- Repeating motions that may
include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.--- Operating machinery
and/or power tools.--- Work on ladders to reach high ceilings or
