CLINICAL DIRECTOR - Must be a LICENSED PRACTITIONER OF THE HEALING ARTS (LPHA)

Decatur Manor in Decatur, IL seeks a Full-Time, Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) as our Clinical Director. This is a Full Time, Salaried Role. However, we would consider hiring someone on a consulting basis 10 hours a week. Per state regulations this position must be filled by a LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist or be close to having fulfilled the Clinical designation requirements.

Decatur Manor Healthcare is an Intermediate Care Facility for the chronically mentally ill. We treat a variety of mental illnesses in our residential housing setting. Our goal is to assist residents in the development of positive behaviors and skills while allowing them to live as independently as possible in the community.

Responsibilities of the Psych-Social Director (Licensed Practitioner of Healing Arts LPHA):

Direct overall operations
Train and supervise staff
Oversight of the implementation of treatment programs
Develop Performance Improvement Project (PIP) tools to improve the delivery of care
Make recommendations regarding staffing and operations to the Executive Director
Oversee the assessment of all potential residents
Provide clinical case supervision of all treatment personnel
Develop and coordinate educational in-services
Coordinate referrals of residents to services the facility does not provide
Supervise the QMHPs, MHPs, CRRSs and RSAs
Ensure compliance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations

Requirements:

of the Licensed Practitioner of Healing Arts (LPHA):

Must be a Licensed Clinical Social worker or (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or Licensed Psychologist
At least two (2) years of experience in direct care of individuals
Minimum one (1) year of supervisory experience
Demonstrated ability to act decisively and delegate authority
Excellent communication and relationship building skills
