Job Specifics
--- New opportunity exists for a Physician Assistant (PA) in Urbana, IL. Preferred candidates will have PA critical care certification; critical care experience and the ability to effectively collaborate with physicians and co-workers in providing exceptional care to our patients.
--- This position would include coverage at OSF HealthCare Heart of Mary Medical Center in Urbana, Illinois.
--- Collaborate with employed OSF Multi-Specialty Group Pulmonary-Critical Care Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers; and will be supported by the OSF HealthCare 24/7 E-ICU monitoring service.
--- Responsible for placing central venous catheters and arterial lines, admitting patients, evaluating patients in the ED and accepting appropriate transfers from outside hospitals
--- Includes both day time and night time positions; 7 days on 7 days off schedule.
--- General pulmonary and critical care medicine skill set required
