Job Description:
Reports to the Nurse Manager and according to department
policies, nursing care standards and professional licensure; as a
member of the interdisciplinary team, contributes professional
nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of
care to patients through the nursing process. - Assist surgeon,
performs operative/invasive procedures. - Mentoring, and utilizing
the additional education gained through certification will be used
to assist peers, perform more efficiently and raise performance.
-Preparation for surgeon specific operative/invasive procedures
that's timely, accurate effective and efficient. Promotes the use
of evidence-based practice through the nursing process, protocols,
and procedures. - -
Performs indirect patient care. Scrubs simple to complex procedures
for a variety of specialties.
Plans, anticipates, and provides for expected and unexpected
intra-op events.
