Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 Hours Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: 1 year(s) License: Required Certifications: ACLS Preferred, BLS Description: Unit Notes: The unit has 32 beds. Patients only have telemetry if ordered. Telemetry is monitored 24/7. IV Drips include Dopamine 5mcg constant rate, NO TITRATION, used only for renal perfusion. Heparin patients are managed in the unit. The unit accommodates stable ventilator patients and Bipap patients. It specializes in acute and chronic renal failure, as well as dialysis and fluid overload. The patient population consists of medical and surgical patients. The team includes internal medicine physicians and family practice providers. Hospitalist overflow cases may also be accommodated. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations are permitted up to 2 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks without penalty. For assignments of 13 weeks or longer, up to 3 shifts may be canceled without penalty. Charting System: Cerner Corporation - PowerChart. Required Certifications: ACLS Preferred, BLS.
