Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours (5:00 AM - 1:30 PM) Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: IN state license required Certifications: BLS, CNMT or NMTCB required Must-Have: - Ability to multitask and work as a team player - Experience in Adult and Nuclear Cardiology settings - Skills in gastric emptying, HIUDA Scan, Muga Scan, 3 Phase, Whole Body Bone Scan, Liver Imaging, Perfusion, Ventilation/perfusion, Exercise/Rest-Multiple, Pharmacological Stress - Knowledge of isolation precautions - Ability to start and maintain peripheral IVs - Familiarity with storing, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials Description: This role requires a nuclear medicine technologist skilled in various diagnostic procedures. The technologist will perform exams and procedures with precision and care. Candidates must be comfortable with a Monday to Friday schedule, 8-hour shifts, with some variations in start times. The position includes a rotating on-call requirement for after-hours coverage. The ability to float between departments may be necessary based on unit needs. Travelers may work in adult and nuclear cardiology settings, performing a wide range of imaging studies. This role also involves adhering to safety precautions with radioactive materials. Successful candidates will be flexible and contribute to a supportive team environment. Local residents are welcome to apply, and must have the required certifications in hand. Travelers must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays. This position may require adaptation and response to changing departmental needs.
