Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/01/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room Surgicenter position in Illinois requiring EPIC and Level 1 Trauma experience. Responsibilities Work in an ambulatory surgery center operating room setting Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM Full-time position with 40 hours per week Cares for surgical patients age 8 and older Uses EPIC for charting and documentation Performs comprehensive patient assessments and documents findings in EPIC Implements and modifies plans of care based on patient and family needs Establishes IVs and administers medications according to five rights Participates in OR time-out processes as required No local candidates accepted; must reside more than 50 miles from the facility Time off requests not to exceed 7 days per 13-week contract May not work at the facility for more than one year without a six-month break No travel partners permitted on assignment Requirements Active IL RN license; temporary licenses accepted Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association Minimum of one year relevant RN experience in an OR setting Experience with Level 1 Trauma cases required Documented experience with EPIC EMR required Associate's degree in nursing (ASN) required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-631258.
