Job Description:
Carle Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Athletic Trainer
to join our dynamic team, focused on providing top-notch athletic
training services in a community-based healthcare setting. This
role involves interfacing with patients of all ages, delivering
preventive care, and immediate care for athletic injuries. The
Athletic Trainer will work closely with healthcare professionals to
optimize patient health outcomes through innovative treatment plans
and rehabilitation strategies, echoing Carle Health’s commitment to
integrate advanced medical treatment with personalized patient
care. Evaluate and manage injuries during athletic events and
training sessions. Design and implement comprehensive
rehabilitation programs for injured athletes. Educate patients and
the community on injury prevention and health maintenance.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to
formulate individualized care plans. Maintain detailed patient
records and injury logs. Participate in outreach programs and
workshops. Strong knowledge of sports-related injury treatment and
prevention. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to operate under pressure in both clinical and field
settings. Proficient in the use of athletic training equipment and
technology. Medical Insurance Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) by
the Board of Certification (BOC). State licensure as required.
