Internship: Safety Manager - Summer Internship

AHW LLC is a John Deere Dealership with 20 locations in Illinois and Indiana. This position will perform safety inspections for assigned location(s) and department(s). Offers suggestions and makes corrections.

Responsibilities:

• Tour our stores and look for safety concerns
• Identify corrective actions and implement solutions to issues
• Work with the store manager to create a safe working environment
• Order supplies and deliver to the appropriate locations
• Ensure the company complies and adheres to OSHA guidelines
• Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to company safety program at all times
• Perform other duties as assigned
  Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
  
  • Ability to lift items weighing upwards to 75 lbs
  • Ability to perform multiple duties as assigned
  • Basic knowledge of equipment safety procedures
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
  • Travel is required, so you must have a valid driver's license
