Job Description:

As the name states, the HR Marketing Coordinator handles both human resources and marketing for the company. This position combines HR and marketing because here at HL, we like to express our internal culture as our external brand. Given the increasingly globally competitive environment, a company's image (or brand) has never been more important both outside the company (marketing to existing and prospective customers) as well as inside the company (employee retention & recruitment). Particularly in a manufacturing company, culture is the underlying foundation of the brand. The HR Marketing Coordinator is a key role within the company. One that focuses on positive company branding, cultivating a positive corporate culture, reinforcing a positive experience for existing customers, attracting new customers, current employee satisfaction and recruiting new talent - in other words; External and Internal Branding and Marketing. Perhaps succinctly put, an HR Marketing professional is a "Culture & Brand Champion". The HR Marketing Coordinator will need to successfully strengthen the company's brand based upon its culture. These efforts will occur with both an internal and external focus. Making the company's culture shine through will solidify its brand in current & prospective employees and customers alike. An HR Marketing professional identifies potential employee recruitment markets, creates clear communication messages and recommends ways to retain employees. The HR Marketing position requires a candidate who is creative and able to use consultative approaches and strategies in order to retain and attract customers and employees. Responsibilities on the Human Resources Realm Maintain work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positionsMaintain organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing and interviewing program; council managers on candidate selections; conducting and analyzing exit interviewsPrepare employees for positions by conducting orientation (onboarding) and training programsMaintain employee benefits programs and inform employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trendsHandle employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviewingMaintain company organization charts and employee directoryMaintain management guidelines by preparing, updating and recommending human resources policies and proceduresMaintain historical human resources records by designing a filing and retrieving system; keeping past and current recordsAssist in building training programs for employeesContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Responsibilities on the Marketing Realm Research current manufacturing marketing trendsAdvocate for the manufacturing industryGenerate manufacturing industry awareness to younger generations in grades K through 12 to address skills gapUpdate the website through WordPressMaintain social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube) and update content regularlyCapture company culture and translate it into the company's brand to external and internal audiencesCompose press releases as necessaryBuild relationships with outside communityAssist in building customer presentations-- Knowledge Successful candidates' knowledge should include recruitment and employee satisfaction methods using effective communication techniques. Knowledge should also include social media resources & strategies as well as market research methods. General business, marketing, and human resources knowledge is desired. Qualifications An associate or bachelor's degree in one of more of the following; Human Resources, Public Relations, Marketing, Communication, Psychology.
