Job Description Job Description As a custodian, you clean and sanitize to ensure facility maintenance. We Offer - Advancement: We prioritize promotion from within! - Rewards: We enjoy premium pay & an excellent benefits program! - Convenience: Our food-grade clean & climate-controlled facility is located right off of I-57 and I-72! - Stability: We’ve been in the community for many years & offer job stability through market uncertainty You Will - Report food safety issues - Perform cleaning and sanitization of restrooms to high standards - Perform cleaning and sanitization of employee breakrooms to high standards - Replenish the stock of the restrooms and breakrooms - Perform cleaning in areas of the plant as needed - Perform floor cleaning and applies floor drier - Pick up reusable scrap for salvage and stores in containers - Perform cleaning of rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas - Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies - Wash walls, ceiling, and woodwork. Washes windows, door panels, and sills - Empty wastebaskets and other receptacles - Transport trash and waste to disposal area - Perform all other duties as assigned. You Have - Ability to work a 12 hour day shift on our 3-2-2-3 regular schedule cycle with every other weekend off. - High school diploma (preferred) - Ability to read and interpret safety guidelines, instructions, and procedures - Ability to understand and carry out detailed written or oral instructions - Ability to write routine correspondence - Ability to communicate effectively with employees of organization - Ability to deal with problems in standardized situations.
