Cat Digital's Analytics team is looking for a
talented and motivated Data Scientist to develop and deliver
to support product development for the enterprise as well as
monitoring for customers. As a data
scientist, you will use machine learning and other analysis
techniques to integrate
time-series machine sensor data and physics-based simulation models
design validation and on-board condition monitoring for machines
every corner of the globe.
problems include but are not limited to: creating reduced order or
models of physics-based simulations to enable design exploration
uncertainty quantification; fusion of telematics data and
simulation models to
develop digital twins; statistical modeling for calibration and
analysis and optimization.
- MS degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical,
- 1 year of significant project experience with Python
- 1 year of experience applying machine learning
including deep learning methods
Top Candidates Will Also Have
- PhD degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil,
- Experience in physics-based
simulation or validation of off-road machinery
- Experience with uncertainty
quantification, statistical modeling, and optimization
- Understanding of complex
electro-mechanical systems (engines, drivetrain, hydraulics,
- Experience using machine sensor
telematics data to solve product problems
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills
- Works well in team environment
