Primary Talent Partners has an open 12 month W2 contract opportunity with a large healthcare client of ours in the Chicago, IL, Atlanta, GA or Mason, OH area!

The rate for the role will be paying between $70.00-75.00/hr without benefits, PTO, etc (ACA-compliant healthcare plan available to opt-in to)
Responsible for the delivery of end-to-end application and system development and maintenance on complex multi-technology platforms within an assigned client group, business unit, or corporate department. This role utilizes various customer technology platforms.

Primary Duties

Maintain active relationships with customers to determine business requirements and lead requirements gathering meetings.
Own the change request process and coordinate with other teams as necessary.
Provide technical advice and contribute to technical decisions impacting cross-functional teams.
Research and propose new technologies.
Develop and own a list of final enhancements.
Define application scope and objectives and prepare technical and/or functional specifications from which programs will be written.
Perform technical design reviews and code reviews.
Oversee technical testing to ensure unit tests are completed and meet test plan requirements, system testing is completed, and the system is implemented according to plan.
Assess current status and support data information planning.
Coordinate on-call support and ensure effective monitoring of the system.
Maintain the technical development environment.
Mentor others and lead multiple or small to medium-sized projects.
Begin to set direction at the project/service level and influence decision-making.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring.
Understand the tradeoffs between technical, analytical, and product needs of technical solutions.
Identify and propose strategies around technical problems affecting the team, communicate standards, and get buy-in on solutions.
Facilitate group sessions to elicit complex information on requirements clarification, design sessions, code reviews, and troubleshooting issues.
Support vendor evaluation.

Qualifications

BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field of study.
A minimum of 5 years of related experience.
Multi-dimensional platform experience.
Expert-level experience with business and technical applications.
Multi-database and/or multi-language skills are strongly preferred.
Experience mentoring others, leading multiple small projects, and providing troubleshooting support is preferred.
