Reports To: Programming - VP Product DevelopmentMUST BE a US
citizen and live in the United States.Job SummaryConversion analyst
responsibilities include conducting full lifecycle analysis to
include requirements, activities and design. Data analysts will
develop analysis and reporting capabilities. They will also monitor
performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.
Ability to analyze business procedures and recommend specific types
of data that can be used to improve upon them.Key Responsibilities
and Accountabilities Develop understanding of and define client
products and services through information gathering sessions to
determine how systems must be established to meet client needs.
Completes product workflow documents summarizing all processing
requirements and determines key challenges in converting customer
to systems. Confirms project requirements by studying user
requirements with ability to collaborate with others on project
team. Examine data files, processes, forms, reports and operational
needs of customers and completes data mapping and transaction
workflow documents as the basis of the conversion system. Maintains
data dictionary by revising and entering definitions. Determines
changes in physical database by studying project requirements,
identifying database characteristics, such as location, amount of
space, and access method. Changes database system by coding
database descriptions. Protects database by developing access
system, specifying user level of access. Maintains user reference
by writing and rewriting database descriptions. Contributes to team
effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Accomplishes
organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops;
reviewing publications; establishing personal networks;
participating in technical societies. Maintains client confidence
and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
Requirements:
Qualifications and SkillsBachelor's degree preferred or 3-4 years
programming, system design, and programming analysis. Experience
using Excel, Relational Database Processing and familiarity with
SQL syntax required.Software Development Fundamentals, Problem
Solving, Documentation Skills, Verbal Communication, Database
Security and Promoting Process Improvement preferred.Excellent
written and verbal communication skills. Strong ability to
multitask. Candidate must be very organized and highly
