Job Description:

The Production Associate III is a senior member of our team, responsible for overseeing plant operations and activities, including shipping, receiving, packing, inventory management, and quality control checks. This position requires advanced knowledge of plant operations, strong leadership skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex issues.Responsibilities 1. Supervision and Training: Provide supervision and training to Production Associates I and II, ensuring that they perform their duties efficiently and safely. 2. Shipping and Receiving: Manage inbound and outbound shipments, inspecting freight for specifications, location fill loads, and correct DOT compliance. Operate forklifts to load and unload trucks (CDL required for forklift operation). 3. Inventory Management: Check and maintain stock levels, dispose of damaged or defective stock, and communicate inventory issues to supervisors. 4. Quality Assurance: Conduct quality control checks on products, ensuring compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements. Perform pressure and valve checks on inbound loads. Maintain testing logs. 5. Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Operate and oversee maintenance of hand grinders, recovery and reclaim equipment, and other production equipment as required. 6. Coordination and Communication: Coordinate with internal logistics team and laboratory technicians on product specification quality controls. Record transactions in company proprietary systems/software. 7. Packaging and Order Processing: Oversee packaging and order processing activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in filling orders and preparing shipments. 8. Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to production, equipment, and orders. 9. Safety: Lead by example in commitment to safety always, ensuring compliance with company safety protocols and procedures.Basic & Required Qualifications--- High school diploma or GED. --- Proven working experience as a warehouse worker or production associate, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. --- Experience in working with hazardous/non-hazardous materials. --- Experience with compressed gases is a plus. --- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to train and motivate team members. --- Advanced knowledge of plant policies and procedures. --- Ability to communicate effectively in standard business style and grammar. --- Ability to work in different areas as needed. --- Ability to follow directions accurately. --- Basic math skills required. --- Computer skills are required. --- Operator's license required for forklift operation. --- EPA 608 Certified PIfb41855c43e7-25660-35426973
